Kids across Macon County are getting ready to head back to school. But for many local families, buying new clothes for the school year can mean making difficult choices—between shirts and shoes, groceries, utility bills, or other basic needs.
Dove, Inc. in Decatur is asking the community to help by donating gently used clothing for children and teens, up to age 18. Your donation can help a student walk into the classroom feeling comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
Clothing donations are accepted Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 at Central Christian Church in Decatur. Financial gifts are also welcome and help support Dove’s work with families throughout central Illinois.
