Pana Pedestrian Crash Victim Identified

The victim of a fatal pedestrian crash Monday night in Pana has been identified.

The Christian County Coroner’s Office says 13-year-old Shelden Wayde Conway of Pana was the juvenile pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 500 block of South Poplar Street around 9:39 Monday night.

Pana Police responded to the scene and found Conway in the roadway. The driver of the vehicle, a 16-year-old female, had stopped at the scene.

The Christian County Coroner’s Office says the investigation remains ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.

Conway’s obituary confirms he died Monday, August 24, at the age of 13.
