Teen Shot, Killed at Decatur Home Identified

Decatur Police have identified the 16-year-old killed in a shooting last week as Marlone Dishman. Officers were called to a home in the 100 block of South Westdale Avenue around 9:30 last Monday night, where they found Dishman suffering from a gunshot wound. An 18-year-old was also injured after being slashed in the face. Dishman was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The second victim has since recovered. Investigators say they are still searching for whoever is responsible. Anyone with information is urged to contact Decatur Police as the investigation continues.
