Gunshots in west Decatur have police investigating

Decatur Police are investigating reports of gunfire on the city’s west side Sunday night. Officers were called after 8 p.m. to the 1500 block of West Forest Avenue after reports of gunshots in the area. At this time, police have not confirmed whether anyone was injured, and it’s unclear if any arrests have been made. The Decatur Police Department says the investigation remains ongoing.
