St. Teresa High School has named Rodney Walker as its next boys basketball head coach. Walker, a Decatur native and St. Teresa alumnus, returns to Bulldog country after Mike Noonan departed to join the Millikin University basketball staff. Walker played college basketball at New Mexico State, where he led the team in scoring and earned All-Big West first-team honors. He later spent a decade playing professionally overseas in Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Finland, and Brazil. Walker also coached at Eisenhower High School for 10 years. He’ll join St. Teresa full-time, teaching P.E. and weightlifting while leading the Bulldogs.
