Northeast Community Fund is preparing for a leadership change. Executive Director Angel Lawrence will step down on August 3rd, ending her service with the organization. NECF credits Lawrence with helping expand programs in food distribution, emergency services, housing support, mobile outreach, home improvement assistance, and other community services. Lawrence says serving the community has been an honor, emphasizing that the work has always centered on families, staff, volunteers, donors, partners, and neighbors helping one another. Founder Jerry Pelz says NECF’s mission of compassion, support, and hope remains unchanged. The Board of Directors plans to begin searching for the organization’s next executive director in the coming weeks.
