Two Quincy men are in custody after Illinois State Police and the West Central Illinois Task Force concluded a far-reaching narcotics investigation. Special Agents arrested 25-year-old Jaret T. Shear and 21-year-old Israel N. L. Gordon, seizing more than 20 pounds of illicit cannabis, over 80 grams of cocaine, 200 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, firearms ammunition, and a large sum of cash. Authorities executed four search warrants at multiple locations, including two homes on Zellerman Avenue, one on Lyter Road, and a business on Maine Street. Shear and Gordon face multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, and both await a pre-trial detention hearing in Adams County Jail.
