Spring sports rolled on Tuesday, highlighted by a big road win on the college side and several local high school matchups.

The offense kept rolling with home runs from Mick Niebrugge and Gage Reynolds, and a big sixth inning pushed the lead to double digits. Leyton Ivers went 3-for-5, while Reynolds and Britton each drove in three. Brayden Saling earned the win, and Gavin Houchins struck out five over the final three innings.
At the high school level, MacArthur Generals baseball fell on the road to Jacksonville Crimsons baseball 10-0. Jacksonville totaled 10 hits, while MacArthur managed just three.
St. Teresa Bulldogs baseball also came up short, falling 10-3 to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights baseball. ALAH jumped out early with five runs in the first inning and controlled the game from there.
