Illinois State Police have arrested 25-year-old Ivan Kuckuk of Madison, Wisconsin following a significant drug seizure on eastbound I-74, just outside Bloomington. During a routine traffic stop, troopers with ISP’s Troop 5 Criminal Patrol discovered approximately 99.7 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, with an estimated street value nearing $500,000. Kuckuk was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was taken into custody without incident. The McLean County State’s Attorney has charged him with Methamphetamine Trafficking. Kuckuk remains in the McLean County Jail, awaiting his first court appearance. All charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise.
