Pritzker Signs Bill to Protect and Expand Vaccine Access In Illinois

Illinois is taking steps to protect vaccine access in the state. Governor Pritzker signed a bill that codifies an executive order that empowers the Illinois Department of Public Health to offer transparent, science-based vaccine guidelines, while expanding vaccine access. The legislation requires insurance companies to cover vaccines recommended by the IDPH and expands youth vaccine access in pharmacies.
