Two National Guard Members Shot In DC
President Trump says the suspect in the shooting of two National Guard members near the White House came into the country under former President Biden’s watch. In a video address released Wednesday night, Trump said the suspect travelled from Afghanistan as the Taliban were taking power in 2021. Authorities say the man shot two guard members while they were on patrol in what’s being called a “targeted” attack, leaving them in critical condition. The suspect is also being treated at a local hospital for injuries. Trump called the attack an “act of terror.”
