Driver Charged With Hitting State Police Car On I-57 In Douglas Co
A driver is accused of hitting a state police squad car on I-57 in Douglas County. State police say a trooper was at the scene of a previous crash involving a commercial vehicle yesterday morning on I-57 when a Chevy Trailblazer hit the trooper’s squad car. No injuries were reported, and the driver of the Chevy, Donald Morecraft of Robinson, was charged with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and a Scott’s Law violation.
