Tri-City Parents React To Severe Allergic Reactions In School
(Buffalo, IL) — Parents of students in the Tri-City School District are expressing concerns over a recent allergy scare. At least five students were sent home last week, two to the hospital, after suffering allergic reactions at the middle school. District Superintendent Chad Colmone sent an email to parents last week saying they’ve had health officials in the building, and they assured him that they did not find anything “alarming or hazardous.” That’s not enough for some parents, including several who have removed their kids from the school.
