One Student Hurt In Crash Involving Rantoul HS Bus

One student is recovering following a crash involving a Rantoul Township High School bus. Police say the accident happened yesterday at Champaign Avenue and Century Boulevard when a bus collided with a Toyota sedan. Eighteen students were on the bus at the time. The victim was sent to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Toyota, Brandon Ruiz-Garcia, was issued a citation for failing to yield. He was treated for injuries and released on the scene.
