Decatur City Manager Stepping Down

The city manager of Decatur is stepping down. Tim Gleason has formally submitted his resignation, which goes into effect no later than October 31st. Gleason has served in the role since returning to the city in May of last year. No reason was given for his decision. The City Council will appoint an interim City Manager and initiate a search for a permanent replacement.
