Pritzker Confirms ICE Agents In Chicago
(Chicago, IL) — Governor Pritzker is confirming federal immigration agents are in Chicago. Pritzker says about two hundred ICE agents with access to one hundred vehicles are expected to be on the ground in the city. The governor said people are afraid to come out of their homes to go shopping and take their children to school. Pritzker’s comments come after the Department of Homeland Security announced it was launching an immigration crackdown this week in Chicago and across Illinois.
