In an open letter to fans, Chicago Bears president Kevin Warren said the focus of the McCaskey family, which owns the team, has been clear: build a world-class stadium that requires zero money from the state of Illinois for its construction. Warren said the team’s planned move from Chicago to Arlington Heights was not a decision they reached easily. The Bears lost their season opener to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night, 27-24, at Soldier Field.
