Truck Driver Hit And Killed By Box Truck On I-57
(Shelby Co., IL) — One man is dead after being hit by a truck on I-57 in Shelby County. State police say the driver of a semi was outside his truck Saturday, trying to fill it with gas, when he was hit by a box truck near Neoga. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the box truck was cited for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
