Village Of Blue Mound Warns Residents Not to Give Infants Tap Water
(Blue Mound, IL) — The Village of Blue Mound is warning residents not to give tap water to infants under six months. The warning was sent out due to unsafe levels of nitrate in the drinking water. The water shouldn’t be given to infants under six months or used to make formula because the child could become seriously ill. The Village anticipates the problem will be resolved by September 12th.
