CHICAGO ORDER, SHOOTINGS
Chicago Police say more than 55 people were shot, at least eight fatally, in the city over Labor Day weekend. The reports come after Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order on Saturday, demanding that President Donald Trump stand down from his threat to deploy National Guard personnel to Chicago. Gov. J.B. Pritzker has scheduled an event Tuesday afternoon to discuss the potential deployment.
