Woman Accused Of Setting Multiple Fires To Same Building In Mattoon
(Mattoon, IL) — A woman is accused of setting multiple fires at the same apartment building in Mattoon. Police say crews responded to blazes in the 15-hundred block of Shelby Avenue on July 17th and 18th. Investigators determined that Karla Tresner was a suspect in both arsons. She was located on Monday in Charleston. Tresner admitted to setting fire to the building, knowing there were individuals inside on both occasions. She was arrested and transported to the Coles County Jail.
