ISP Investigating Vehicle Found In Sangamon River
(Sangamon Co., IL) — State police are investigating after an abandoned vehicle was found in the Sangamon River. Authorities say a man was fishing Saturday morning when he spotted a car in the river under the I-72 bridge, just south of Riverton. No one was in the vehicle. Investigators are trying to determine how it got into the river.
