Slover Family Convicted In Relative’s Death Back In Court
(Decatur, IL) — The Slover family is back in court this week, as attorneys with the Illinois Innocence Project continue to work the case. Jeannette Slover, her husband Michael Slover Sr., and their son, Michael Slover Jr., were all convicted of the murder of Karyn Slover 28 years ago. Jeannette Slover died last month in prison while serving her 60-year sentence. The Innocence Project has taken up the Slover’s case, as they say evidence that led to the convictions was problematic.
