President’s Day Protesters March From Capitol To Lincoln’s House

(Springfield, IL) — Protests against the Trump administration continue across the nation as dozens gathered in Springfield on President’s Day yesterday. The group of about 200 people gathered at the State House and were escorted by Springfield Police as they marched to the home of Abraham Lincoln. Many among the crowd praised Democratic Governor J.B. Pritzker for standing up to the White House, calling on more local and state governments to do the same. The local demonstration was part of a larger, nationwide President’s Day protest.
