Two Adults, Teen Charged In Decatur Shooting
(Decatur, IL) — Two adults and a teen are charged in a shooting earlier this week in Decatur. Police say a woman was located at the hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Investigators learned that the woman was shot early Monday when multiple people forced their way into her home on South Stone Street and gunfire was exchanged. Officers later found Deonte Stone with a gunshot wound at a home on East North Street. He was identified as one of the intruders from the earlier incident. Detectives arrested Stone, Colton Clark, and a 16-year-old for their involvement in the home invasion.
