Man Has Leg Amputated By Train In Decatur
(Decatur, IL) — A man is seriously hurt after he was hit by a train over the weekend in Decatur. Police say the incident happened Sunday night in the area of Edward/Sawyer at the railroad crossing. The victim was discovered with both legs amputated as a result of the incident. He was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. The victim is expected to survive.
