PPIL Serving Still Serving Record Number Of Out Of State Abortion Patients

(Chicago, IL) — Planned Parenthood of Illinois is still serving a record number of out-of-state abortion patients since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. The organization says out-of-state patients make up nearly a quarter of its overall abortion patients. Patients from 41 different states have been traveling to Illinois to receive abortion care, with the largest volume coming from Wisconsin and Indiana.
