Man Charged In Deadly Shooting In Hervey City Pleads Not Guilty
(Hervey City, IL) — The man charged in a deadly shooting at a business in Hervey City earlier this month is pleading not guilty. Tiimon Perry entered the not-guilty plea yesterday in court. Authorities say Gregory Hostetler and 18-year-old Kolby Sunderland had towed a vehicle on May 13th to Five Star Auto Sales. Perry went to the business to recover the vehicle. A fight broke out and Perry pulled out a handgun and shot Hostetler in the head, killing him. As Sunderland attempted to wrestle the gun away from Perry, both suffered gunshot wounds, leaving them hospitalized. Perry faces charges of First Degree Murder and Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
