Decatur City Council to Review Premium Yard Waste Rates
(Decatur, IL) — Tonight, the Decatur City Council will take a look at the rates charged for pickup of Premium Yard Waste. The review follows complaints by residents about current rates charged by local waste haulers. Councilman David Horn says one resident told him their hauler is requiring fees to be paid a year in advance and is charging five dollars a bag once a customer fills up a 96-gallon tote. The council won’t take a final vote tonight.
