Patrol Car Struck During Pursuit
(Decatur, IL) – A Macon County Sheriff’s deputy is recovering after their vehicle was struck during a pursuit. The incident happened near West Marietta Street and North Edward Street when the deputy was pursuing a vehicle for unknown reasons. The deputy’s vehicle was hit by a car not involved in the pursuit. There were minor injuries in the incident but it appears the deputy came away unscathed.
