Illinois Lawmakers Pushing For Child Tax Credit
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois lawmakers are pushing for a statewide child tax credit. A bill introduced yesterday would offer 300 dollars per child starting in 2025 for families who earn less than the median income. If approved, Illinois would become the 14th state to pass a statewide child tax credit.
