Springfield Woman Sentenced To Prison For Cyberstalking DCFS Worker
(Springfield, IL) — A Springfield woman is going to prison after being convicted of cyberstalking a DCFS worker. Lerin Hughes was sentenced to three and a half years behind bars. Prosecutors say Hughes made repeated threatening Facebook posts directed towards an employee of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. She also sent threatening text messages, e-mail messages and sought out the personal Facebook page of a caseworker.
