Man Pleads Guilty In Death Of Infant Son In Decatur
(Decatur, IL) — A man is pleading guilty to aggravated battery in the death of his seven-month-old son in Decatur last year. Police say officers located Kayden Tyson suffering from head trauma in February of last year at a home in the one-thousand block of West Cerro Gordo. He later died from his injuries. Following an investigation, the child’s father, Joshua Tyson, was arrested. The father entered the guilty plea yesterday and was sentenced to ten years in prison.
