ICC Cuts Ameren Illinois Rate Hike Request In Half
(Springfield, IL) — Ameren Illinois’ rate hike request is being cut in half. The Illinois Commerce Commission disallowed more than 36-million dollars to the utility’s rate request for its natural gas delivery services in Illinois. The decision is nearly 51-percent lower than Ameren’s initial request for a more than 71-million dollar increase. The ICC issued its decision after reviewing Ameren’s rate case filings and additional materials.
