Duckworth Blasts Vance For Blocking Confirmation Of April Perry
(Washington, DC) — US Senator Tammy Duckworth is criticizing fellow Senator J.D. Vance for blocking a confirmation vote for April Perry to be the next U.S. attorney in Chicago. Speaking to the Sun Times, Duckworth called the move by the Ohio Republican an abuse of power. Vance is standing in the way of the confirmation as a protest over the federal prosecution of former President Donald Trump.
