Champaign Co. Crime Stoppers Seeking Man Who Used Phony Cash

(Urbana, IL) — Champaign County Crime Stoppers are looking for a man who used phony cash last month at a Walgreens. Authorities say the suspect went into the store at 302 East University Avenue in Urbana on August 23rd to deposit cash into a Cash App account. He gave the cashier five one-hundred-dollars bills that store officials later learned were counterfeit.
