Man Charged With Killing Ex-Wife In Decatur
(Decatur, IL) — A man is accused of killing his ex-wife in Decatur. Police say officers responded early yesterday to a home on Dwight Drive on a report of a man telling dispatch he killed his wife. Officers located the caller, Gary Russell, outside the home and a woman who had been stabbed to death inside. Investigators determined Russell and the victim were previously married, but were still residing together. He was arrested for first-degree Murder.
