Forsyth Man Sentenced 50 Years For 2021 Argenta Murder
(Macon Co., IL) — A Forsyth man is being sentenced to 50 years in prison for murder. Phillip Gehrken was found guilty last month in the killing of Kevin Cooper. Authorities say Cooper confronted Gehrken at a home in rural Argenta in July 2021 as part of a feud over money. During that confrontation, Gehrken shot and killed Cooper.
