Springfield Man Convicted In Connection With Jan. 6th Capitol Riot
(Washington, DC) — A Springfield man is set to be sentenced later this year after being convicted of federal charges for taking part in the January 6th U.S. Capitol riot in 2021. Thomas Adams Junior was found guilty of entering a restricted building and obstructing an official proceeding. Images showed him carrying a Trump flag onto the floor of the U.S. Senate. Adams will be sentenced on June 16th.
