Bloomington Man Sentenced For Possessing a Full-Auto Glock “Switch”
(Peoria, IL) — A Bloomington man is being sentenced to 33 months in federal prison for possessing a Glock “Switch.” A switch is an aftermarket attachment designed to convert Glock handguns into fully automatic machine guns. Javares Hudson received the punishment after pleading guilty in September. Evidence showed Hudson went to the hospital in January 2022 to be treated for a gunshot wound he suffered outside a nightclub. Hospital staff discovered something in his mouth. Hudson eventually spit out a small baggie containing a “Glock Conversion Device.”
