State Senator Melinda Bush Resigning
Illinois State Senator Melinda Bush is leaving office. The Illinois State Senate Democrats announced that the Grayslake Democrat is resigning effective Saturday. The vacancy must be filled within 30 days and must be a Democrat. Bush’s replacement will serve for the remainder of her term.
