Illini Football Loses Defensive Coordinator
The Illinois Fighting Illini are in the market for a new defensive coordinator. Ryan Walters was hired away by Purdue to become the Boilermakers new head coach. Walters joined the Illinois staff prior to the 2021 season. The Illini gave up just 12-point-two points per game in 2022, which was the best in the FBS.
