McConnell, McCarthy Condemn Nick Fuentes
Two Republican leaders in Congress are condemning white nationalist and Illinois native Nick Fuentes. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says there’s no room in the Republican Party for antisemitism or white supremacy. His comments come as former President Trump is facing backlash for having dinner with Fuentes and rapper Kanye West at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida last week. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says Fuentes has no place in the Republican Party. Fuentes grew up in La Grange Park, Illinois, and attended Lyons Township High School.
