Chicago Man Charged With Domestic Battery, Kidnapping In Mattoon
A Chicago man is facing domestic battery and aggravated kidnapping charges in Mattoon. Police say Terell Baker hit a female in the face and took a four-month-old child without the permission of the mother. Officers eventually arrested him Monday in Charleston and the child was located unharmed. Baker is being held at the Coles County jail on 150-thousand-dollars bond.
