Man Charged With Murdering Springfield Couple Pleads Not Guilty
A Springfield man charged with murdering a local couple is pleading not guilty after being indicted this week. A Sangamon County Grand Jury returned a 13-count indictment against Mark Crites. He entered a not guilty plea during an arraignment yesterday. The charges stem from the shooting deaths of Gloria and John Norgaard and a separate arson investigation.
