Springfield HS Teacher Charged In Altercation With Student
A teacher at Springfield’s Lanphier High School is charged with aggravated battery following an altercation with a student. Akers told police that a 15-year-old student punched him in the face multiple times Monday. He then picked up the teen and held him down until police arrived. The student was taken to the hospital for treatment and an investigation continues.
