Colts Announce Team Captains
The Colts announced their team captains for the 2022 season on Wednesday. Three offensive players, three defensive players and one special teams player were voted by the players to lead the team this year. Quarterback Matt Ryan, running back Jonathan Taylor and left guard Quenton Nelson will lead the offense. Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, linebacker Shaquille Leonard and cornerback Kenny Moore the Second will lead the defense. Linebacker Zaire Franklin is the lone special teams captain. Indianapolis opens the regular season on Sunday at the Houston Texans.
