Pritzker Welcomes Immigrants Traveling To Chicago From Texas
Governor Pritzker is welcoming a group of migrants who traveled from Texas to Chicago. The governor released a statement saying Illinois is working with federal and city officials to ensure that these individuals are treated with respect and safety as they look to connect with their family and friends. Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he bused the migrants to Illinois in response to President Biden’s open border policies overwhelming border communities in Texas.
