Rockford Woman Sentenced For Straw Purchasing Firearms
A Rockford woman is receiving 18 months in federal prison for straw purchasing firearms. Kiana Martin was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty in May. Martin admitted that she knowingly made false and fictitious written statements to the firearms dealers while acquiring firearms. She then gave those firearms to known felons who couldn’t legally purchase them.
