Man Hit By Vehicle He Shot At In Peoria
A man is facing gun charges after police say he was hit by a vehicle that he had earlier shot at in Peoria. Authorities say Jerrell Hardges was hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in the 28-hundred block of Wyoming Street. He was hospitalized with minor injuries. Investigators later located the driver who hit Hardges and learned that he had fired at her vehicle in the 27-hundred block of West Trewyn. She suffered a minor injury from the gunfire. Hardges was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
